Hello Rose fans! Our detailed episode page for iZombie 3×04, Wag the Tongue Slowly, is now up and complete! View it here. On the page, you’ll find all the important episode information, reviews, quotes, videos, links to episode stills and graphics, a look at Liv’s style in the episode, a look at all the comic intros, photos of the food prepared and more. We hope you’ll like it!
You can also find HD screen captures from the episode in our photo gallery. It was yet another great episode – and the ratings increased this week! But the season overall isn’t doing too well, so we need you all to watch + get everyone you know to watch. We definitely need a fourth season, so please help us make it happen fellow Brainies…
We have been working really hard on re-building our site this week, and we’ve made quite a good progress! All our information pages have now been updated, including the Style Files. Once we complete the full site, we’ll also update the timeline and style rundown with all of Rose’s latest events. The Multimedia pages (except twitter avatars and headers – those are coming up soon!) and Fanzone pages are all back, and we’ve even added some new additions! The Press Library is also up again, though we’ve lost quite a lot of articles. I will work on re-adding those this weekend. We have created a brand new Video Archive as well, which I think is even better then the old one! It doesn’t have as many videos yet, but it’s a lot easier to browse and more organized then our old one. We hope you’ll like it!
Now all that’s left is to update all our career pages (most are done, though – just missing the filmography and television projects) and re-make our graphics archive. We should have everything back up by the end of the week! Then we’ll start working on the gallery, as we lost about 10 000 photos. Those too should be up very soon… Thanks for the patience!
After a couple of months offline, ROSE MCIVER ONLINE is now back up and running! We decided to close it last November, after a very difficult year. In 2016 we had to switch host a total of 5 times, our site was hacked twice and one of our staff members decided to leave the fansite world. It resulted in a major lack of motivation, and we decided to delete the site.
However, we love Rose way too much to just let the site go, and we missed it so much! So we decided earlier this year to re-do the site. With a lot of help from our great host Fanscity, we luckily managed to retrieve some of our old content, including all our posts. The site is back up and running now, but A LOT is missing. We’ve lost 17 000 photos, all the image files on all 100+ pages here at the main site, our press archive, video archive, graphics archive and much more. So the site is a bit of a mess at the moment, but we will be working hard to get it back to what it once was! I hope to re-launch the video and graphics archives tomorrow, and then the rest will follow.
We also have a new theme (though still using the stunning header Nicole made us last year), since we lost the theme files as well. We hope you’ll like it! We’ll spend the next few days catching up on Rose – all photos added after May last year is unfortunately completely gone. The main site and our twitter account will be updated whenever we add something, so make sure to check back regularly!
Hello Rose fans! Have you missed us? We have definitely missed keeping you all updated on everything Rose related! As our twitter followers already know, our website host has unfortunately experienced a lot of issues lately. This resulted in over a week downtime… But we are back now, and we will catch up on all the latest as soon as possible.
We received many messages and emails during the downtime, and we just want to state: Rose McIver Online is NOT going anywhere. Thank you to everyone who have supported us and offered their help.
Two of our staff members will however be gone until 2017. Therefore, I (Sara) have decided to start looking for someone who can help out here at the site every now and then. If you have website experience from before, that’s great, but if not then I will teach you the basic. All I’m looking for is someone who’s a big fan of Rose, and wants to help out posting news and photos a couple of times per week/month! You can apply by emailing email@example.com. Stay tuned for all the latest news up next!
As most of you are probably aware of, the annual San Diego Comic Con is held this weekend! Rose is set to attend for her third year in row. The SDCC weekend has become a big one here at Rose McIver Online and in the Rose community, and we can’t wait for it to start! Photos, videos, information… All to be expected – and in big batches 😉 While we eagerly await the convention, we decided to warm up by taking a look at the last two years’…
San Diego Comic-Con International is a multi-genre entertainment and comic convention held annually in San Diego, California. It was founded as the Golden State Comic Book Convention in 1970 by a group of San Diegans, which included Shel Dorf, Richard Alf, Ken Krueger, and Mike Towry; later, it was called the “San Diego Comic Book Convention”. The name, as given on its website, is Comic-Con International: San Diego; but it is commonly known simply as Comic-Con or the San Diego Comic-Con or “SDCC”. It is a four-day event (Thursday–Sunday) held during the summer at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, California. On the Wednesday evening prior to the official opening of the event, there is a preview for professionals, exhibitors, and select guests pre-registered for all four days.
(Photo left: Rose at the Batman 75th Anniversary And ‘Batman: Arkham Knight’ Unveil ‘Cape/Cowl/Create’ Art Exhibit at SDCC. More photos here.) When it was announced Rose would attend the 2014 San Diego Comic-Con, the excitement was big. They were currently working on the first season of iZombie, and fans were looking forward to receive more information about the upcoming show. It was apparent that it already had many fans, even before the pilot episode had aired! Rose went to San Diego with her co-stars David Anders, Rahul Kohli, Robert Buckley and Malcolm Goodwin, and the show creators Diane Ruggiero and Rob Thomas.
In their iZombie panel we learned a lot of fun facts, such as; Rose was the 100th actress to audition for the part! We also found out more about the show premise, the weekly format and how Rose found it easy to play a zomibe, but difficult to play a med student because of the vocabulary. The reviews were clear; this was a group of actors with a lot of charm, and they did amazingly at building up the hype around the show.
We were also given a galore of photos, making the weekend even better! Rose attended many different events during the convention, even a couple of portrait sessions. She wore different outfits to almost all of them – let’s take a look at her 2014 SDCC looks…
(In the 4th photo, Rose is wearing a Carlo Pazolini Handbag in black/white, a Sans Souci Blue & White stripe skirt and a AQ AQ Monica Halter Crop Top with Racer Front.)
It’s safe to say she looked stunning in all of them. But which of her 2014 looks were your favorite? Vote below…
You can check out all our 2014 SDCC posts and updates in our news archive under this tag. (Note: this was before our server crash in 2015. Some posts were sadly lost, but we’ve been able to retrieve most)
Rose’s second San Diego Comic Con was held almost a month after the season finale of the first iZombie season in 2016. By then, iZombie had built up quite an impressive fanbase, and everyone was buzzing for the convention to kick off! And what an amazing start to the weekend they got… The cast attended the MTV Fandom Awards in San Diego the day before the convention, where they picked up the award “Best New Fandom”. (To the right: Photo of Rose dedicating the award to the fans. All photos of the cast accepting it can be found in our gallery here.)
And then the fun began! Unlike in 2014, Rose only attended the convention on one day (July 10). But oh did she keep busy! She managed to attend the iZombie panel and fan signing, appeared at SiriusXMs EW Radio Show, was in the Photo Booth and did a total of 3 different portrait session, visited the Nintendo Lounge on the TV Guide Magazine Yacht, and last but not least: the Warner Bros. Television’s Comic-Con 2015 Cocktail Media Mixer (with Leah Pipes from The Originals and Emily Bett Rickards from Arrow). And then there was all the interviews… (you can check out screen captures from pretty much all the interviews Rose made in our master post here)
One kind soul uploaded the entire iZombie panel to youtube for us, so that we who were sadly stuck on the other site of the world and couldn’t attend in person, could watch it! If you haven’t seen it before, make sure to check it out below… And if you have, maybe rewatching it as we wait for this year’s iZombie panel could be fun?
For all interviews, videos, posts and updates related to the 2015 SDCC, visit this tag.
To sum up this long San Diego Comic Con post, we have picked our favorite photos from the two conventions. To view the photos in full, just click the thumbnails. Do you agree with our choices? Would you have included others photos if you were to pick? Let us know in the comments section below!

STAY TUNED AT ROSE MCIVER ONLINE this weekend, as we plan on giving you an exstensive coverage of our favorite event of the year. There will be plenty of updates every day, with photos, videos and hopefully a lot of information on the upcoming third season of our favorite show. If you’re on twitter, you should also make sure to follow us, as we’ll be active from Rose’s arrival to the closing party! You can also discuss the event with us and other fans. Here’s to a fun weekend!
Hello Roses! After using the same layout for around a year, we figured it was time to freshen up the website with a brand new look. Since it seemed all of you (and us too!) loved the previous layout so much, we contacted the designer and asked if she could design our next one as well. She kindly agreed, so a big thank you to Nicole once again! We love it even more than we loved the previous, which we didn’t even think was possible. Hopefully you’ll love it as much as us.
The new design can be seen both here and at our galleries, and we will eventually update the video archive and graphic archive to match as well. If you have any questions, or find that something about the new design looks off or bad to you, please send us a message. All feedback is welcome!
We have a big project coming up this summer, which Sara will soon inform you more about. All I can say for now is that we are extremely excited, and can’t wait to share it with you! So stay tuned, and keep checking our twitter and the website for updates…
Since there is not much news to update with until this weekend, Sara and I have been working on the pages here at Rose McIver Online. We have finally completed the Music Videos pages, with information on the Wild Wild Horses videos Rose did last year, as well as put up a Writing page, where you can read about Rose’s screenplays and more. We have also began a Public Events page, which will eventually contain information on all the press tours, conventions and award shows Rose has attended through her career.
Tomorrow we will start the modeling page, where we will write about the magazine spreads Rose have had, the Theatre pages, and complete the Short film ones. Stay tuned!
We have been working on !PixieDust! today (our fan art section), and a bunch of new graphics have been added! As promised on twitter, we have now added phone backgrounds (and a lot of them!), which you can download and use on your phones for free. Our fan art section have been moved and updated, so it now even has a responsive design – meaning you can easily browse the section on your phone, and download the backgrounds without having to connect to your computer! We have added both photoshoots and events, and more are coming.
Since it’s finally summer (at this part of the world, anyway), we have also created some summer avatars you can use on twitter. Along with those, another big batch of Once Upon a Time avatars have been added, and you can now also find some beautiful ones from “The Answers”. All of these are made particularly for twitter, so feel free to use any of them on your twitter profile. They can also be used other places though – no credit is necessary! We hope you enjoy this big graphic update 🙂 Links to all the updated pages can be found below…
We have added 5 of Rose’s short films to our video archive today! These are some of our favorites, and they really showcase Rose’s versatility. You can watch them by clicking each thumbnail below, or you can go to the full “Short Films” category by clicking here.
The videos added are “The Answers” (2015), “Flying” (1998), “The Dinner Party” (2012), the Wild Wild Horses music video/short film Rose did last year, which was directed by her co-star and best friend Jennifer Morrison and “So Fresh So Keen – a 48 hours shortfilm” (2008).
Sundays are meant to be lazy and relaxing, so what can be better than playing some fun games?
We have promised quite a few times over the last weeks that we would start working on our fanzone, to get it back to what it once were (before we lost the site last year). Yesterday and today, Sara and I have been working hard on just this – and we are very pleased to re-launch the section! It now contains a game arcade, with a ton of Rose related games you can play. We have also added a Reaction pics page (which will be updated more later tonight), and fixed all the broken forms in the interact section. There’s a lot of interaction pages, and we would love to get your inputs on them all! It’s easy to send in your own submissions, and it’s always fun to read the thoughts of fellow fans.
Make sure you head over to the FANZONE for all the new additions. Some of my personal favorites are the memory game (annoyingly addictive!), Match shoes to outfit game and the Six Degrees game. What will be yours?
