Hello Rose fans! Our girl is featured in the New Zealand magazine Fashion Quarterly’s March 2019 issue, which can now be found in stores or be purchased online as a digital copy today. The spread includes a stunning new photoshoot picture of Rose, and a great little interview which looks at both her past and current projects. I’ve already bought my own copy, and have typed up a tiny part of her interview for you below – but make sure to head over to their official website here to buy your own copy for the full version! Below you can also find a link to our gallery, where I’ve uploaded a preview.

Rose McIver’s first exposure to the film industry was at 18 months old, playing the role of toddler for a New Zealand short film. By the age of five, she’d starred as a schoolgirl in Jane Compion’s The Piano and played a daughter of a Roman god in the Hercules television movies. “These were tiny, tiny roles – I certainly was not channeling any characters” says Rose at our photoshoot. “I was just standing there trying not to look down the barrel of the lens.” Today, as a fully grown actor of five foot three, she directs her answers to Fashion Quarterly’s rolling camera head-on. Sitting tall with the poise of a true professional, she’s every inch the star. Rose learned the ropes on local productions Power Rangers and Shortland Street, and put herself in a few precarious positions during the filming of TV series Maddigan’s Quest, which required her to enroll in an unofficial circus school to learn tightrope. Now 30, her life has been a balancing act; her first cinematic venture overseas was at 19 for Peter jackson’s The Lovely Bones and shortly afterwards she dropped out of an Arts degree at Auckland University when she felt the City of Angels calling.

Our gallery was updated with new magazine scans today, including the latest issue of “The Music” (Melbourne version), where Rose’s latest interview by Daniel Cribb is featured. We also finally got around to adding the “MindfoodSTYLE” issue from November 2014, which seems to have gotten lost during our move last year. Enjoy!

We promise there would be many updates this week as a part of our Rose’s birthday & iZombie season 2 premiere celebration, and here’s another one! We’ve updated our gallery with many magazine scans of Rose, some old, and some new. Some are also exclusively scanned for Rose McIver Online, so please do not re post anywhere else without our permission (and a link back to us).

MindfoodSTYLE’s first magazine issue is out, and Rose is their first cover girl!! It’s a brand new photoshoot, and Rose looks ah-mazing. A photoshoot outtake + two magazine scans have been added to our galleries ; we hope to have HQ versions soon (and hopefully more outtakes). I have also added scans from Rose’s features in Metro Magazine NZ, SciFi Now (thank you to my friend Neide!) and Cosmopolitan.
